HOA PRESIDENTS MESSAGE (posted 04/21/2011)
"On June 13, 2011 we will hold our annual meeting to elect Board Members. I’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to run for the Board. The Board makes important decisions about our Community and would benefit from your participation. Several Board Members have served for a number of years; I have been on the board since the very beginning of our association. Please consider filling one of these important positions."
"There are many benefits of being on the Board. Most of us don’t know what our HOA does and are confused about its governance, responsibilities and authority. Some of us complain about the services our HOA provides (or lack, thereof), but most of us don’t have any idea what it costs to provide the landscaping, maintenance and other amenities that are required by law."
"You can learn these things, and many more, by being on the Board. You can also get hands-on experience making decisions that are important to our Community. So, please help us and run for the Board. It takes only a couple of hours a month. If you are interested in running for this position, please contact us. The Election Rules require that candidates be members in good standing: current payment of assessments and with no outstanding violations, fines, or suspensions."

Communication tools
Did you know that the HOA has two additional communication tools besides the web site? One is the Richmond Fairways HOA yahoo group. To join the group, send an e-mail to FairwaysHOA-subscribe@Yahoogroups.com. The second is notice holders on each mailbox where the agenda and important notices are posted. (Please do not put trash in the boxes.)
PARKING RULES
The rules for your HOA require that each residence be able to park 2 vehicles in the garage. Please apply for and display "Fairways" parking stickers.
MONTHLY ASSESSMENTS PAYMENTS
Please remember the monthly assessment is due by the 15th of each month. Please contact Management if you are having difficulty making your monthly assessments. The Board will review your request and assist you with a payment plan.
